Rachid Cheaib, President and CEO

Rachid brings over 25 years of leadership experience, with strong emphasis in the Information Technology space. Prior to coming to Castel, Rachid spent the last 10 years with Sodexo Group, a leader in the catering and facility management industry. Rachid led the successful SAP ERP implementation for Sodexo USA. With over 300 employees and $50 million dollars of cost, the project was named the largest in SAP history for this industry. Rachid’s most recent position was the Sodexo Group Chief Application Officer where he was responsible for all business and technical applications, including strategy, design, architecture, development, delivery, and support worldwide. He managed approximately 500 people in 60+ countries. Rachid also participated in Sodexo’s growth strategy and planning as part of the Ambition 2015 initiative. Prior to his tenure at Sodexo, Rachid spent 12 years with Ahold USA where he held multiple technology leadership positions, most notably, the Senior Director for Information technology system & network architecture and Planning, with strong concentration on Network and telecommunication topology designs, implementation, and support. Rachid led the architecture and implementation of the largest redundant telecommunication/PBX architecture for Ahold USA subsidiary Tops Markets in the Northeast.

Rachid holds a Master Degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York, Buffalo, New York, as well as a Micro MBA.

Jeffrey M. Baughan, EVP Marketing and Customer Care

Jeff has more than 20 years of executive marketing, sales, and information technology experience. Prior to joining Castel, Jeff has successfully delivered business technology solutions in the mortgage banking, insurance and retail environment. Jeff has contributed to the successful growth of several businesses by conducting market analysis, developing product offerings and executing marketing and strategic plans. Jeff has senior level IT leadership experience in telephony, systems development / integration and large scale technology deployments.

Integrity, dedication and focus on delivering complete solutions that move organizations forward is at the center of Jeffrey Baughan’s approach. Jeff and the sales team at Castel, strive to understand customers’ needs and provide solutions to enable organizations to overcome challenges and seek new opportunities. Additionally Jeff and his team seek feedback from customers in the form of user groups and quality assessments upon the completion of an implementation to continually improve Castel’s products and services.

Paul Maggioli, EVP Engineering and Operations

Paul has more than 20 years experience in the design, development and deployment of software products. He is responsible for overseeing the company's research and development activities and development initiatives, including managing the engineering teams, providing technical strategy guidance, and developing enterprise level products and solutions. Previously, Paul served in a variety of development management roles, where he oversaw and contributed to the development of Castel telecommunications hardware and software products.

Prior to joining the Castel team, he held executive management positions with IPL Systems Inc. and Nova Biomedical. Throughout his career Paul has lead teams in creating technically advanced, architecturally sound, feature-rich software products. Paul attended Southern New Hampshire University and has a degree in Computer Science.

Fred Stacey , SVP Sales

Fred has more than 16 years experience in the collections and call center industries. He is responsible for overseeing the company's sales development activities and development initiatives, including managing the sales teams and providing technical strategy guidance to new Castel cusotmers. Previously, Fred served as Executive Vice President of eCollections where he was responsible for developing partnerships and internal expansion.

Prior to joining the Castel team, Fred held executive management positions with eCollections and TouchStar. Throughout his career Fred has lead teams in developing partnerships and operational processes. Fred has also been a frequent speaker to customers and at trade conferences on motivation and leadership. Fred is a published author of "Cut Out THe Garbage" which is a sales management reference for call center managers.
